Meet deborah provost
Deborah’s curiosity, life experience, and breadth of knowledge have shaped her into the kind, compassionate, trustworthy practitioner she is today. Through her experiences and search for self, she easily relates to others while holding space for clients to discover their own truths.
She was raised in a family of nine by two parents who were often on opposite pages. As an almost graduated dental hygienist her mom was diagnosed with brain tumors. This 13 year family journey shaped her career as a dental hygienist and emphasized the importance of educating and empowering her patients to make informed choices about their health options.
This came full circle when her husband Greg was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis in 2006. Together they set out on a journey and put together a team of healthcare professionals. The team they quarterbacked consisted of allopathic, homeopathic, functional medicine, and various self-care experts.
It took time, dedication, and a clear vision, but within six years Greg’s prognosis went from being in a wheelchair within three to five and deceased shortly thereafter, to being downgraded to a clinically isolated syndrome. All because of sustainable lifestyle, nutritional changes and a deep knowing they could rewrite the aforementioned prognosis.
During this time they also inherited a multi-million dollar lawsuit, which in the end they lost, and liquidated generational family assets to pay off the debt. Yet, by staying true to their inner guidance systems and holding onto the love they shared for one another they came out stronger, more focused, and more grateful for every given day.
Then in 2018 Deborah’s youngest sister, Julie was murdered and earned her angel wings. Julie’s husband and youngest son survived the brutal attack of their middle son, because Julie’s youngest son, in the midst of being attacked, had the inner wisdom to say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, God demands you put down that hatchet.”
These stories are in Deborah’s bio because all of us have a story, an event, and a life that has shaped us into the people we are today. Deborah knows from personal experience and endless hours of studies that in our darkest days we can learn, and grow, and realign with our true self. We can shine, and find gratitude, and value in challenging experiences, all while staying the course God intended for us.
This doesn’t mean it will make sense. Yet, when we lean into the pain, seek to understand the lesson, and come out the other side…the joy and happiness it can bring, well, it is priceless. And, Deborah believes that when we dig deep, go within, we can find the resources we need to heal, to forgive, to let go and move on. In doing so, she sincerely believes we will create both inner and world peace.
Deborah married the love of her life and best friend in 1987. Together they raised an amazing, kind, and generous son. They reside in Southern Oregon with their two dogs and one cat.
